It's not completing a quest though its an item to start a quest that drops from the boss- it's like killing the bwl attunement letter dropping mob in a raid group.

As I recall, BWL attunement is a (Raid) quest, Ony attunement is not. I believe that is the distinction you're looking for. If the quest is not classified as a (Raid) quest, you will not be able to complete it or obtain it while in a raid.

I don't have time to research whatever it is you mean. Is it a boss drop that STARTS a quest? Then yes, it should drop even though you're in a 10-man. You could always go research it yourself, try db.vanillagaming.org or one of the other databases...

Posted: Tue Apr 19, 2016 4:40 pmIf you are Alliance and have not completed the quest yet, Overlord Wyrmthalak should drop "General Drakkisath's Command" letter regardless if you're in a raid group or not.
