As the petition is steadily heading towards 160.000 supporters, it has now effectively turned into a countdown towards 200.000...
Our goal's finally in sight!
If you haven't already, and want to help make legacy servers a thing, be sure to drop by and sign the petition! ^^

i personally don't know how it will end... maybe mark sends the letter and his friend named Mike says, "hey buddie, how are you doing? ah, by the way, im not gonna open any legacy server, sorry my friend".
And we all go to cry together

That is indeed a potential outcome...but for now, there's at least a realistic possibility we'll end up getting what we want from the petition.
I'd say that's quite enough to see this through 'til the end ^^

That's exactly what will happen because the authorities who work for Blizzard and Activision have far more influence than a dev who used to work there, regardless of their relationship. Unless its a setup to measure support and they were already planning on opening it, as i've mentioned before.

Yes^^ But lets get our chances! If Activision think about money, a legacy server can be.

They can either do something or nothing. However, if I lost 6-7 million subscribers, I think I would look at all options to bring players back to the game. They lost their chance with WoD. I don't imagine people giving them another chance with Legion. (By people, I mean those who have left WoW for many years)

I wasn't a player on Nostalrius and honestly never heard about it until I watched some of the various rants about it on youtube.
I've been playing WoW off and on since retail launched and have been on a few vanilla servers in the past.
Guess I just wanted to let you guys know that there are people out there that are supporting your cause even though we didn't play on Nost. I'm interested to see what happens here and I hope Blizzard will listen to their fans.
Well anyways that's it. Good luck guys! Almost 200k!

Exactly. Even if they get 5 million playing legacy servers those 5 million would be more inclined to buy and play a new expansion than not. That's better than the toxic situation today.
