It might be in response to the huge drop in preorders and cancelations of Legion. Need to throw the plebs a bone once and a while to keep them engaged. With all the negative press they needed to get some of the short attentions spans back by announcing a release date.

Correct me if I am wrong, but legion is still Alpha, isn't it? How are they going to make it through Beta and Release in just 4 months? I guess more quick development facebook gampelay solutions are coming in...
