Jon Jafari's video about Nostalrius got 2,347,407 views. Why is this important?

Because, Jon Jafari on his video about Nostalrius, received more views than World of Warcraft: Warlords Of Draenor (aka WoW Retail) has got active players.

According to WoW Realms, in the past thirty (30) days, only 797,505 players logged into a total of 245 live servers.

Nostalrius and the notion of Private WoW:Vanilla Servers are able to muster almost four times the interest gamers show to actually playing WoW Retail and Jon Jafari himself has got almost four times the subscribers Blizzard has got active players on just You Tube.

Seems to me that Blizzard run Vanilla servers could help Retail WoW get more popular and help it overcome its current sorry state. Soon, the trolls on the payroll of Blizzard who post on MMO Champion will be the only ones who will play it.

Stats for EU servers are much less reliable, but I estimate abt. 500k active at most. This added to 797,505 equals abt. 1,297,505 active players. That is still less than half Jon Jafaris' active subs. His videos get from 2 to 8 million views FYI.

Agreed and all of the retail fags cant accept the fact that retail is dying super fast.
I mean the game literally is one giant lobby now.
It is absolute shit and blizz is too stubborn to listen to the community and change the game.
They think retail is the best its ever been.

No. We are Blizzard's fans not Blizzard's enemies.

I'm a fan of the original devs and Blizzard team. I am by no means a fan in any way of Activision.

I thought warcraftrealms got it's data from people running their app or addon or whatever. Maybe nowadays fewer care to run it, what with it being less of a social game. Plus it counts those online [and I'm guessing takes some time to log everyone around], so the probability of being counted depends on playtime of those counting and of those being counted.

On that basis it doesn't sound very robust, but I could be wrong.

IDK why it's hard for ppl to understand that alot of retail players have recently stopped playing because they announced at blizzcon there was no new content being released til legion so if u have mythic archi done as many have and gotten ur mount there's really no real reason to login til September again .. blizzard knows this the average person knows this once legion launches logins will skyrocket again and blizzard / metzen has already released the statement that there will not be a legacy server sadly though I and many others would gladly pay dbl current sub just to play ..
