Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

How did Charge work on Nostalrius? Did it make so your movement commands are overwriten and ignored?

Example:
If you were holding W to move, and Charged, would you continue moving after charge or would you stop?
Did you have to let go of button and press it again in order to move?

Currently on Kronos, after you use charge, any movement is ignored and stopped, and you have to let go of button and press again AFTER charge ends in order to move. You can press any button 100 times during charge and it will be ignored on conclusion of charge and your character will just stay in place.

Was it like this on Nostalrius? Was it like this on Vanilla retail? Which way is correct?

If my memory serves I believe charge cancelled movement. You would need to repress W the move again.

Someone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.
