By the way things are progressing... the meeting Mike and Mark. The subtle hints here and there.. Change is coming folks! And the glory days of old are soon around the horizon! I would like to give a personal thank you to all the dev team of Nostalrius. NONE OF THIS would of been possible without you guys effort. I have seen servers come and go, shutdown and fade in the dark.. but you put up a FIGHT! and the veterans of old grabbed their swords and pens.. and pass the word out to everyone else. You guys started this movement and got some big guns involved. I commend all of you. Even if we lost the battle... we are winning the war!

Thank you guys from the bottom of my heart! Vanilla WoW is not dead! Its just being reborn!

Seriously though this is epic, I am proud of our community even if we fail.

I just hope the nostalrius team is truely involved in any form of blizzard solution.

Failure is not an option, I want my son to play Vanilla one day and I want it to be legit!

Sometimes I get the feeling that this was their plan all along. I'm not sure if Mark Kern was part of the big plan, but I think that the Nost team was waiting like "C'mon, I dare you to come shut us down. We have the greatest community, fans, and enthusiasts that will spread the word and fight back so we can all truely get what we really need/wanted."


I too would also like to thank the Nost. team and everyone else that took part.

Normally, in a situation like this I would have just said "eh, whatever" and just went to go play another game. This time, however, I felt like "Hell naw, time to put my foot down, I'm not going to accept this crap!" I had no idea this would get as far as it did, but we kept pushing.

This isn't over yet, but I have my wallet open ready to play some Legacy server.

Wouldn't that be great if this was their plan all along? Masterful to say the least, even if its not the case. I'm so glad we've gotten this far.

I think Legacy is coming...and I'm glad to relive what I enjoyed so many years ago. Blizzard will have me throwing shittons of money at them if they oblige. I'll buy every collectors edition I've missed...which includes WOTLK. Along with a year's subscription.

All the effort you put into the server and community, all the sleepless nights and missed vacations you spent running the sever, and all the time and money you poured into the greatest vanilla experience we have ever had, it is not in vain, and we love you dearly for this. I want legacy servers not because I want to play on them, but because it's your dream, and you deserve to see it come true.

I have been a long term member of the Classic WoW community. This has by far surpassed anything expected. out of a private server.
