You're deluded if you think you're getting your Nost character back after the Nost devs said they weren't trying to revive the server or merge it with an existing server.

Most players who played on Nost wanted legacy servers. Blizz said no and therefore Nostalrius was created. I don't see the problem here.

Think of Nostalrius as the open beta for legacy servers. Anyway of course this takes priority. You should be jumping up and down like ever else, this is the biggest win the private sever community has ever seen.

Why over Nost players? I am - well, was - a Nost player. And I much, MUCH prefer them taking their chances of seriously negotiating with Blizzard, rather than throwing away this unique opportunity so we can get 20 amateur forks of their source, most of which would probably be hosted out of some teenagers basement (no offense).

So please don't generalize. They're doing this for their players, even if not every single one of them will agree.

I couldn't really give a fuck about my level 60 .. I'm just happy progress is being made.. To all those crying over not having the database or whatever, Grow the fuck up.. Nostalrius doesn't owe you shit.. If anything they've done a lot for you in giving you a place to experience vanilla.. and if it weren't for this server there wouldn't have been this massive backlash that actually made blizzard listen.. So rather than be dicks in the forum over your precious characters .. Why not appreciate what the nost team has done for you and the whole legacy server movement or whatever you want to call it instead of acting like spoiled children..
