How appropriate, I found that amusing and probably 100% spot on.

I am disturbed how insensitive people are to realistic violence.

I have not watched TV since about the mid-90s.

That scene was horrific and disturbing - to me. I wish I hadn't seen it, and I stopped it after the first stabbing.

I presume most everyone else thought nothing of it.

I assume you haven't watched Game of Thrones from the beggining.

If you did, you would really realize how hard that scene was... still, the video was funny

I eventually hear about the really popular TV series. Lost, Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, others for whom the name escapes me right now. From my POV, on the outside, they're identical. People watch, are enthralled (in all sorts of ways) and then it ends and the next one comes along and it repeats.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to argue it's bad. It's not. It's entertainment. I get my entertainment in other ways, such as Vanilla WoW.

After watching Dan Dority beat Captain Turner to death on 'Deadwood', popping out his eye in the process, and watching Chris beat Michael's father to death on 'The Wire'...no. And those were both much better shows than 'Game of Thrones'.

That's about how I imagine the meeting going down. I was wondering where that footage came from though. I've never seen Game of Thrones.

It's a mature series that's on HBO only what else is there to say?

I watched Cradle of Fear during my early teens. After a while you're not phased much by digital/screen stuff.
Different from real life though. First time I saw a corpse lying in a highway felt pretty different.
