Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Hi everyone Im new here and I have several questions, over the years playing WoW I have always wanted to experience Vanilla since I started at the beginning of BC I never get to know vanilla the star of a great lore, gaming experience, massive PvP not like ashran now I mean tarren mill and other locations where horde vs alliance fought for hours. This days or months that have passed there have being this talks about Nostalrius a very popular private server for those who love the old WoW. Are all this talks real that they are down for good? or blizz plans on keeping them alive? I will like to know the fate of it since there are many things not clear yet about this issues or current state of Nostalrius private servers.

I guess you did not read about the "rules" regarding private servers.

they are illegal and that's final.
if Blizzard takes one down its gone....
it is in direct violation of their rules and intellectual property so they have no other choice then to take them out when they can.
