Asking for TBC and extra content??

First off I just want to thank the Nostalrius team for this once in a lifetime experience they have given all of us. In my humble opinion, you have managed to outdo Blizzard in nearly every single aspect in regards to creating an amazing progressive Vanilla server and community.

Now, to the community.
Take a deep breath, step back for a moment, and think about what you are doing.
People are getting too greedy when it comes to the whole legacy server push, thus jeopardising the integrity of our whole cause.

Sure we have got a response and meeting between Nostalrius Devs, Mark Kern, and Blizzard, but we are still waiting for a meeting date. Asking for features to be changed, for TBC and WOTLK servers is just too much at this point in time... I mean we don't even have a confirmed date for the meeting with Mike Morhaime yet and people are already demanding more from Blizzard.

We need to get Vanilla servers up and running before we consider putting more ideas towards Blizzard otherwise it's just going to cause incohesion. Why would Blizzard take us seriously then?

I STRONGLY agree. As I posted in the announcement thread, Nost should focus on vanilla and not complicate things with additional stuff like expansions. Show them we are serious about vanilla and let someone else fart around about the expansions in the future. Nothing good can come from biting off too much.

I need an adult.

"Eye on the ball, boys and girls" would be appropriate.

Asking for dedicated servers for each patch is part of the entire point. Hitting only Classic is not logical, and it's even less logical to patch the servers up regularly, eventually putting us in the same situation we're in now. Asking for legacy servers does not mean just Classic. It means every patch. Some players will prefer BC, probably more than Classic, and Wotlk will most likely outnumber Classic+BC together. We should just have servers for all of these, and let people play what they want. Cherry picking a patch means some players will get what they want, and the rest will get shafted, which again, is the situation we're in now. They've always cherry picked the newest patch, screwing over everyone that would prefer to stay with older patches(which now clearly the majority of players).

That said, they don't need to all drop on the same day. Like with Nost, they could just start with Classic, and release more servers later.

Don't ask for changes. Don't ask for updates. Don't be stupid.
