Does anyone have a list of all the names that are "banned" on the 1.12 client?

Would find it interesting to see how much work companies put into a "Safe" game environment.

And ofc, see what names i can start "reserving" for the future Blizz-legacy (jinx)

I think the only limits are vulgarity and stuff that's not "PC"... I've seen names like Frostitute (mage, heh.), Bowjob,Scrototem, etc

It's split in two files, one for "profanity" that includes a lot of fairly creative stuff, and one "reserved" with a lot of lore-related things, and immersion-breaking things like real places, famous names, and various names like our new hero's "Grummz" for example.

It ultimately doesn't matter what's pre banned in the clients because a server can enforce whatever name rules that it likes. This means retail, along with every private server, have their own unique block lists for character names. Even if one passes when the character is made, they can still forcibly rename you after the fact if they don't like it, then add the name you had, to the block list. I think my favorites were the Mages named after bottled water brands, like Aquafina.

I ve seen Himler, he wasn't banned, lvl 40 without any pressure
