I wanna play my nostalrius character in another piece of shit realm out there. I don't want your source code or any other shit cos i don't care about it, i just want to play my warrior somewhere else.

Im glad you are happy with the idea of hoping legacy servers by blizzard, but even if that happens im not willing to spend another 1000 hours of my real life building a character up. I know the rest of the community that wants to play from zero again are 99,8% nolifers, and i accept that, but you have to accept that part of the community just want to keep playing where everything was left.

And you are just assuming that blizzard is ever going to release a legacy server, but what if it does not happens? what are you going to do?

Im angry with you cos you don't give the fucking chance of playing my char anywhere, and something tells me that you are going to resoundingly fail with all this matter (blizzard and vanilla servers)

Still crying about your old char? Oh my... People where are so damn short sighted and fail to see the big picture, makes me wonder how old the average Nost player was.

I want my 2k+hour character back too, but I would trade it for the knowledge that the next legacy server I play on is a legitimate never-to-be-closed and well-working server. With or without a sub fee.

I agree with filth, everyone should. An official legacy server hosted in my own country with 50ms, security, better player support, no possibility of a future shutdown for decades; would be worth trading it all for. If we are going to get official servers here, you are not getting your characters back. Just accept it and take the trade; it's overwhelmingly worth it. If we don't get it, then you might get your leak to private servers. You need more patience. They're not going to leak code or accounts before exploring their options with Blizzard.

You don't seem to have accepted that no private server lasts forever. If they don't get hacked to shit at some point, they usually tank in a few years or rot to no population. You should have expected a limited lifespan here. It's not what we wanted, but it's what you get from a private server. It's also the same problem an official one would avoid. If you were willing to start over from scratch on private servers; you should be willing to do it for official ones.

I may be ignorant of this, but do other private servers allow you to export/import characters? I've just never seen that...

In other words, if Nostalrius wouldn't have mentioned that that it was a possibility, would people even be asking for it?
