Odd, but I'd be very surprised if this was a clue for anything.
Even if Blizz finally listens to the community and brings back Vanilla servers - out of pure gut feeling, I'd guess it'd take them at least a year or so to get one up and running. Deleting some sort of patch notes from their website because of a possible launch would probably one of the very, very last items on their priority list right now I'd imagine.

Vanilla Patch Notes from Blizzard Website are removed since last year even before Nostalrius become Active as we know.
