Are we staying positive? In all honestly I'm just happy people still even post here. Sure... we might have gotten a bit more aggressive now that we don't have the ingame stuff to talk about but atleast we're together! That's what this is all about, right? The community. Not the characters, not the raid runs, not all the loot and gold and levels that we lost. It's about the community, the community that is still staying together in this forum. Just thought I would remind you guys about the #1 thing we praise Vanilla WoW for. The feeling of being part of a community.

There's no community anymore, half here want Legacy(i call those a lunatics that have faith in activision-blizzard still, those must've quit retail not long ago probably, they played retail so long that their brains are irreversibly damaged), the other half (yea you're right thats me) want code/data and re-emerge somewhere outside of blizzard reach. Both sides spit at each other and basicly thats whats going on at these forums nowadays.

I'm content for now, but I realize that there will not be an announcement before BlizzCon in November. So I'm doing other things - only checking these forums every few days.

Nostalrius will not release code or data until Blizzard says they will not be doing Legacy. And not even sure if they would do it then.

So for now it is.... #BlizzConOrBust

Are People are trying to stay positive?. Yes, people are trying, trying is the key word. There is one question that has popped into everyone's mind ever since the the Nostalrius meeting, and that is, "What is going to happen next?". Which is causing a lot of problems with this morale. One major problem is that some people were suspecting a yes or no answer from that meeting, and of course that was not the case. The conclusion out of that meeting was a maybe which is better then straight up no like they have given us in the past. The Nostalrius development team gave some interesting insight of what they observed which is interpreted differently by everyone. In the end Blizzard is going to make the final yes or no which could be answered at Blizzcon, and people have mixed opinions about Blizzard which cause another morale problem.

And yes its good to see that people still use this site and talk. And also keep in mind of the guests that visit this site still....people want to keep up to date with the current news so they might not talk but they care deeply about everything that is going on at the moment.

I'm not sure how I feel.

I was very attached to my character and I was all about accomplishing everything there was to accomplish in vanilla. I'm happy I got to cross off atleast some things from my bucket list. Such as: Hydraxian Waterlords exalted, Argent Dawn exalted, Kodo mount as an Undead, Clearing MC, ZG, Ony and BWL, obtaining Neltharion's Tear, being a contributing member of a full content clearing guild.
I just wish I could've had AQ20/40 and Naxx on that list too.... Then I wouldn't feel so raped. I spent a year accomplishing those things and I did have fun, but now that they're done I don't really want to do them again. Atleast not on another private server, which may end up getting shut down too.
Particularly, I'm not hooked on doing it again on kronos. Mostly because I despise their ezaccountsharing, account trading, paytowin mounts etc.. I feel like they're in it for the $$, not the <3.

At the same time, I am happy to be out of WoW (again). I have more time for my studies, more time to hang out with friends and more time to play whatever I want at that time, with no obligation to show up for raids twice per week, every week, all weeks.
That said, if real quality legacy servers by Blizzard ever became a thing, I would come back. For sure. In spite of the consequences it would have on my real life.
