Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

I logged in my Retail Account to check server status. (I didn't know it but Retail is now FtP until level 20 for everyone, this is how I managed to log in).

Following pics were taken on 30 August, 2016, on EU servers. There were exactly 83 almost empty servers, 20 servers half-full (and half-empty), and just 7 full servers.

This is a sad fucking state of affairs. Even though I dislike Retail WoW and think that New Blizzard has obliterated original WoW and turned it into "Kung Fu Pandas, P0kem0n and My Little Pony", I was really sad to see the servers at this capacity on LAUNCH DAY.

I can imagine J. Allen Brack's face as we speak. Normally I'd laugh at this, but as a fan of Warcraft this is fucking sad.

Chilton will be wearing that trademark "I-TOLD-U-SO N00BS" smirk. There will be a lot of people at Blizzard with their hands on their faces today.

We told you so Blizzard, yet in your infinite wisdom, thou chooseth to hear us not.

I am anxious to know the sales numbers. Blizzard always announces records and now I want to see how it is.

I actually felt surprisingly sad to see that my old server (Neptulon) that I remember queueing to get into now having status "low". I really want legacy server now =/

I Think Blizz actually tuned down it, so that high now is not what high was back in the days (not confirmed tho, just what iv heard).

Im actually not surprised or sad to see those values/screenshots, blizz has basically changed the game we loved into some other game that holds you in the hand all the way from level 1 to max level and the design philosphy now is that everyone deserves everything no matter time put into the game.

how many active players would wow still have? 1-2 million?

if high means 3500 players or less, then WoW at that time probably didn't even have 150,000 players in total

so theyre looking at maybe doubling there total numbers if they release progressive legacy servers lol
