Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Ye, listen here lad,

The forces of good and evil have battled since time immemorial (like 2004 or so). Some time ago, Blizzard, king of darkness, struck down Nostalrius, one of the last great private servers. For ages (okay months) the name Nostalrius was spoken across the private server and wow community. Retailn00bs spoke the name with scorn to hide their fear, while the proud Nostalrius rebels spoke it with honor, remembering a more pure time.

Foolishly, Blizzard striking down Nostalrius has made it more powerful than they could ever imagine. The time has come for Nostalrius to rise again and bring an end to the evil empire. Blizzard's campaign of shitty game development will come to an end (or lose a couple of subs) and the internet will know peace, for our savior has returned to us.

Relaunch the servers, they will.

I don't wish bad things on Blizzard, but they are really alienating people with the direction they are going. It's not really necessary.

Well they are alienating people who cling to Nostalrius, for sure but 90 percent of the game's population has no interest in this project and certainly does not care to hear about it at Blizzcon.

Its the right choice to do what they did. It allows them to focus on their thriving expansion, and not waste a ton of time answering questions about something they likely have no plans to do.

Just a smidgen of communication would be better than what we're dealing with now. They're just stringing us along until the topic fades from discussion. I'd give it a week after Blizzcon before either Blizzard or Nostalrius give us something.
