Hello yes

I'm sitting here trying to comprehend how any of you cucks could possibly be against the server coming back. If you deleted your character, good for you. It will still be there because they will revert to before the goddamn announcement. Unless you had inside information about the server closure beforehand, your idiotic decisions will not matter. I farmed all my tfury mats and I really don't wanna do it again so please gif me my hunter back please.

there is no why to argue about this.

The server remains the same, if anyone want to feel the leveling experience again, go create a new char. But i had 45 days played, doing the same thing for another whole year makes no fucking sense at all.

Ye fuck that, gief old servers back, its the sole reason people are even interested about nostalrius, to reconnect... not to start over (there were and are plenty of servers to experience 1-60 with nost gone, its the end game content and end game population people want Nost back for not the fucking 1-60 and entry level raids grind)

Nost sure liked attracting more and more players. Best way to do that would be to do a fresh start.

Those that committed a lot of time in their Nost toons... you'd be back anyways. ;)

Besides, a fresh start would give them more time to finish later raids/TBC (and hopefully, they were doing that these past few months anyways)

Pretty much this.
I can't see them using the old data either. All of the veterans will start over anyway, but a lot of newcomers wouldn't want to play on an "aged" server.

Knowing how the devs are, i doubt they would make such a disrespectful thing to their playerbase like deleting all the characters/accounts after all the time we spent here.

Easy solution. They make a new server with the timeline, scrubs newbies start there meanwhile veterans keep our progress in the old one.

Nost resisted adding a new server suring its heyday, so suggesting that they do that as part of a potential reopening is not likely pursued.

TBH, if they did do that, I think the old server would have major population challenges.

They already couldn't handle population of PvP server. Remember vision distance restriction?
They could open a new PvP realm for players who want a fresh start and keep existing realm for players, who want to continue.
The only downside is splitting population and it is major thing. I think population was #1 thing that made Nost so popular in the end. It is like snowball effect. But then again it is better to provide good playing experience for splitted community, than shitty one for whole.

No we wouldn't, don't play "you think you do but you don't" card. Once you turn hardcore and start grinding rank, possibly damaging your IRL (no matter how stupid that is lol) and you're proven it was bad idea (server closes) u don't go back to redoing that. So stfu plz;) Old server or gtfo.
