It's ridiculous that you claim a fresh start.

1) Those who already were 60, you are stuck in a crazy cycle. You will keep leveling chars in every single vanilla server that appears from the shadow. You leveled a toon in Nost, you are going to level another toon now, you probably did in Kronos, and you will on Crestfall, i honestly don't see the point of repeating the same process over and over again.

Those who want Old server, it is because we didn't finish our journey, most likely we stopped in half of the way. We were still raiding BWL, getting prepared for patch 1.9 and AQ, after 1.9 comes 1.10, and then 1.11, there was still SO MUCH to do. By the way if most people don't play there you will ruin the leveling experience in the old server (this means levelers in many areas, twinking bg's, etc). It is pretty obvious why we don't want to start from zero again.

That would mean leveling 1-60, then doing again Strat 30 times, UBRS 30 times, BRD 50 times, to get our prebis stuff. Then grinding MC/Ony for another 3/4 months, then BWL, and after 1 year we are on the same point. If you are so excited to have a journey from zero again i don't understand why u can't just <Create new character>.

2) Big part of people who wants fresh were just levelers or 60 half green geared that will give up in a few weeks/months again.
3) If the server gets shutted down again, which can happen (cuz if happened once, why now twice, specially if gets huge pop) you have done the same thing again for nothing.
4) If most people go to fresh ( it might happen ) , you would ruin the original server.


Maybe i am wrong and you love living into a closed loop, who knows.

For now, 4k people voted fresh, that means like 11k people haven't. (Average pop of Nost was 12-15k)

People would be autistic to spend over 100 hours just to get back to where they were.

When nost first launched there were about 5 or 6k people on daily I believe? I think there are a lot of people who didn't experience the launch who want to experience that all over again. While it was interesting it was also very frustrating. There were no wolves in northshire abby for hours, the grapes for milly's harvest had really low respawn rates and it took me 2 hours just to finish that quest. I didn't leave the human starting zone until 5 hours lol. It was awful and I'm never doing that again.

I personally understand why people choose fresh server because a) its opportunity to be server #1 easier, some people care about shit like that b) i believe some folks just genuinely enjoy grinding those entry level raids and shit. So guys have some empathy and just let ppl choose whatever the fuck they want.

For me I could only stomach fresh start if it was fresh start but already with most content released (mby not naxx but aq for sure) so based on how experienced / fast gearing people you play with you could skip grinding mc and bwl till u're bis and just go and try some aq40 without bwl bis gear (hard mode ). But that waiting for content releases is bloody murder for me. Not to mention I got a funny feeling that starting zones will be clusterfuck for weeks and STVietnam will be ruled by Dreamstate and the like zergs:P
