Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Okay nothing is officially confirmed but as i can read in some postings there is
a plan to use the Nostalrius character database prior to the announcement.
Some speak about 1 week before the announcement. 1 week?
I absolutely don´t understand the reasons for this rollback and would be very
glad to get an explanation for that.

Some will instantly cry: "Wow awesome, i deleted all my epics and threw my gold away!
That´s perfect.".
To be honest, i have absolutely no understanding for such a behaviour.
Now what about the players, who reached specific goals in the last days of hours
before the shutdown. Getting items or doing progress, which they were working for
a long time just because they did not give up and threw everything away?

I think this is not fair, as not everybody lost his head after the announcement and
was able to reach specific goals within the last days or hours before the shutdown.

You can read the posts now:" OMG i just got my Maladath-blade or my Sulfuras
on the last day!" I think those players have a right to be heard.

Is the rollback planned because of the "i threw all my epics and gold away"-monkeys
or is it technically not possible to just resume the point when Nost was shut down?

I would love to know the reasons.

The database will be from before the closing announcement. Do not ask for the exact moment, I don't know when exactly it was made. Safe guess would be anywhere from 1 hour to 24 hours before the announcement.

You will lose nothing, everything is perfectly stated in realmplayers+database, and btw you are not the only one who thought about this, the devs are not stupid.

I think that didn't go for a decent amount of gold. Btw i've seen the most recent post from the op. Seems like he got plenty gold from retarded people who were shitting around.

The server must be saved before the announcement, so we can continue without issues, deal with it

Thanks for your answer dude, but as i understand i will lose everything
(items+reputation+honor+pets...idk) that i achieved after the announcement
and before the shutdown.
How will i lose nothing then? Just clarify that. If they use a data "screenshot" of
let´s say 1 day before the announcement to implement that into the new server
then everything (items+reputation+honor+pets...idk) i got after that shot does not exist.

And by the way i wanted an answer on : Why they want a rollback?
