General Raid Composition for 40M?

Curious about all of your opinions for raid compositions (horde)

I only had the chance to pug in Nostalrius, so the composition wasnt ever anything strategic

Your tanks, generally 3-4.. depending on the instance you're doing. Again, depending on what raid, 6-8 healers usually, then lots of DPS.

If you're playing horde, hopefully you have at least 2 resto shamans in your healing comp. Windfury is so crucial for all your melee to have, especially tanks for threat reasons.

I've always been curious about this. I wonder if there were/are any druid-only guilds on Nostalrius. If so, I may be interested in joining one.

If druids had wands, it'd make boomkin have at least some sort of use. They'd run out of mana way too fast in a raid environment. Better to save their innervates on the healers (which will in turn have their own innervate) then to use it on themselves only to run out after 5 more Starfires.

If anyone ever died in combat, they'd instantly be rezzed with 40x battle rez... xD
Downside to that is druids have no OoC rez. Which leads to my next point -
If there was a wipe... well unless you want to waste brezzes, y'all gotta run back. Alliance druids at least have a faster speed racial... But horde have nature resistance for AQ (not a lot, but still something).

Also, stealth would come in handy.

You never have the perfect ideal setup because you have to take what you can get. Usually try to get 4-6 per class, but GL doing this with Druid, which might struggle to get even 1, because no one plays the thing. Hunter might also be one that's hard to fill, because there's probably a good dozen or so Rogues for each Hunter.

There was one on Horde. They didn't raid though.

Alright my opinion for optimal raid comp as horde.

Horde benefits from stacking melee
