Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Tonight, 07 January 2017, the Nostalrius community has made a new world record.

There have been around 36,904 players online on all three Nostalrius/Elysium servers immediately after the release of the new PvP server dubbed "ELYSIUM".

To be more precise:

New server, Elysium PvP: 19,754 players in queue.
Nostalrius PvP: 10,750 players - about 10,000 online and abt 750 in queue.
Nostalrius PvE: 6,000 players online and about 400 players in queue.

The number of people wanting to play Wow Vanilla defies belief.

Based on the number of people we have seen trying to access our WoW Vanilla server, if Blizzard were to introduce Vanilla servers, the interest shown by the playerbase would be so substantial that even Blizzard would, perhaps, not be able to cope in the first few days.

do not forget about 1k players who press the Submit button on token generator page instead of standing in queues

26k online + 13k queue = 39k real players ~ 40k OMG))))

I still can't log in. I just keep getting an immediate "disconnected from server" notice.

Any thoughts?

Well, that was very useful information. Thanks so much for the friendly and helpful response.

The other forum happened to be down at the time and had been for several hours, so... yeah, there's that.

Is anyone playing atm or are the servers down? I can't connect, keep getting insta "disconected from server" message..

I second Laz, I can't connect either.
