Epic flight Form Quest Chain

At "The book of the raven" part of druid's epic flight form chain, there is a problem.
There are no "Aether Ray" mobs to kill for the q item.

From what I can find out, the Spire Needler (wasp) which is all over Blade's Edge where removed with the 2.1 patch (http://us.battle.net/wow/en/game/patch-notes/2-1-0 and http://www.engadget.com/2012/11/30/wow-archivist-patch-2-1-the-black-temple/) Some more from wiki: http://wowwiki.wikia.com/wiki/Blade's_Edge_Mountains.

you can get the eye from north east blades edge there is neutral aether rays and boars there, however the quest is still bugged a few quests ahead when you need to go to the "eagle" statue and kill an "eagle" priest however it summons a raven priest which is supposed to be spawned from a raven statue on the next part of the chain so you cannot get the eagle item required to progress as its the wrong mob spawning.
